External Storage and File Sharing

There are several options for storing and sharing files in other locations. The most obvious useful option is for backing up the website; on this site the plugin UpdraftPlus is used to back up the pages and database to a Dropbox account. Another useful option is to offload media such as images and videos to a different cloud location so that the site doesn’t slow down too much from the built in media library becoming to full. A third important use for offloading data is in relation e-commerce, since it would be important to not store users’ financial information in WordPress.
