Customizing My Website Theme

There are several widgets available in the Fairy Dark theme. These include adding an image (say, to the sidebar), adding social media content (such as a Facebook feed), adding the latest blog posts (say, to the sidebar), adding a video, or adding an image gallery. I chose to add a latest blog posts widget to the sidebar (for easy viewing) and a widget to share a blog post in the footer (obviously, to share with others).

Some of the other customizations I made for the time being were to add a Site Icon (I used the horror festival icon for now), and to add a header background (I liked the Scream logo). I also installed the AMP plugin to optimize the pages for mobile viewing. I will probably also schedule a design change for the site periodically in order to keep the site looking fresh and relevant.
